The Santahanan, launched last year in Union’s 108th Founding Anniversary and Church Workers’ Convocation, promoted its creations today, November 16, 2016, at Salakot Chapel. With Prof. Ferdinand Anno as coordinator of Santahan, the artists invited the participants into an envisioned artists’ village. The artists in residence who presented their art pieces were: Emmanuel Garibay, visual artist; Mideo and Racquel Cruz, installation and performing artist; Bong dela Torre, performing artist and poet; and Zion Cleto, dance artist. Also in the house is Bobby Balinquit for music and poetry. [sbk]
